Jim began his credit union career in 1984 at Progressive Consumers Federal Credit Union which later became USAlliance Federal Credit Union. There he developed skills in member/customer service, credit and debit card operations, marketing, retirement accounts, and ACH processing.  While working fulltime at USAlliance, Jim earned his master's degree in Business Administration at Framingham State College.  

From 2003 to 2021, Jim worked at Harvard University Employees Credit Union. As Retail Operations Administrator, Jim managed operations for ACH, checking accounts, credit cards, debit cards, and IRAs.  Taking advantage of NEACH’s training programs, Jim achieved both Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) and National Check Professional (NCP) certifications.

Over the years, Jim became the Credit Union’s “go-to” audit expert. He was in charge of internal and external audits including the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, NCUA, Healy and Healy, and of course the annual ACH Audit for which Jim always contracted with NEACH. If you attended various NEACH conferences or events during the pre-Covid years, it’s a good chance that you may have run into Jim either as an attendee or presenter. Jim also worked with NEACH on various committees.

Upon retiring from Harvard in 2021, Jim became a consultant for NEACH. His vast ACH knowledge and expertise, along with his extensive auditing experience, makes him a highly qualified candidate to perform ACH Audits.
