Burlington, Mass., March 3, 2021 — NEACH Payments Group (NPG) today announced its collaboration with Greg Nanigian and Associates, Inc. (GNA) to offer three new leadership workshops geared toward banking professionals.
The courses— DiSC Assessment Team Building, Applying DiSC Methodology to Improve Branch Management Sales, and Growing Cash Management Sales with the Sandler System—are based on the DiSC Model of assessment, as well as the Sandler method, both of which are behavioral psychology tools. The DiSC model is based on the research of the psychologist William Moulton Marston and evaluates a continuum of activity, energy levels, skepticism, and trust. The basic DiSC styles are dominance, influence, steadiness, and conscientiousness. The Sandler selling process, founded by David Sandler, follows a low-pressure, consultative selling approach also determined by behavioral psychology.
“These workshops will take the quality coaching provided by GNA and apply it specifically to the banking environment,” said Sean Carter, President and CEO of NPG. “The DiSC and Sandler models relate to many banking situations, including staff likelihood to follow risk management procedures, filling operations positions, and compliance with internal processes. We are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity for financial institutions to strengthen staff skills and productivity.”
“Having an understanding of your team’s behavioral drivers can allow your institution to function more effectively,” said Director of NPG Ray Graber, “Using DiSC and Sandler approaches can help industry professionals understand which style would be well-suited for a particular position or requirement, allowing your financial institution to succeed and grow.”
The first of the three courses, DiSC Assessment Team Building, will be held online March 10. To learn more or sign up, please visit the NPG website.
